Snitcher scales global operations and triples team size with Remote

The challenge: Manual HR processes stalled global growth at $1M ARR

Two years ago, Snitcher was a team of four working out of a basement in the Netherlands. Their HR "system" consisted of a manual Notion document and an unlocked table to track leave days. As the company hit its first $1M in ARR, the leadership team realised that limiting their talent search to the Netherlands could stall their growth.

However, the overhead of setting up legal entities in every country where they found a great candidate was a non-starter. "We couldn't do this manually out of a Notion," says Stefan Manojlovic, Snitcher's Head of Marketing. "We needed a way that we could hire those people without the massive overhead of setting up business operations in those countries".

The solution: A seamless bridge to global talent

Snitcher turned to Remote to handle the complexities of global employment. This allowed them to pivot their hiring strategy to focus on quality rather than geography, particularly bringing on a staff engineer from Brazil, business leadership from the UK, sales team members from Serbia, and customer success managers from the Philippines.

Remote Employer of Record (EOR)

By using Remote's EOR services, Snitcher successfully hired key team members in Serbia, Brazil, the UK, and the Philippines. They specifically targeted experienced talent from competitors; experts who already understood the market but lived outside the Netherlands.

Remote HR Management

Snitcher also adopted Remote HR Management to centralise their global team management. This tool replaced their manual spreadsheets, allowing their part-time HR manager to handle a team that grew from 4 to 15 people without increasing the hours she spent on admin.

The impact: Triple growth and localised expertise

The primary impact of the partnership was speed. Key hires went from interview to contract in as little as two days, helping Snitcher triple their headcount in 12 months — something Stef notes would have been impossible without Remote.

With Remote HR Management handling compliance and admin, Snitcher was able to absorb a 3.75x increase in team size without any increase in administrative hours.
