Remote’s Transparent Price Guarantee

Our Transparent Price Guarantee is straightforward. You pay for what you use and you always know what your bill will be.

Here’s what the Transparent Price Guarantee looks like in action:

  • Transparent pricing Remote’s pricing model is designed for simplicity and flexibility ensuring customers pay for what they use. You know exactly what your bill will be each month, and you know exactly what you’re paying for: the most reliable global HR platform in the business.

  • Deposits for select customers Deposits are required for select businesses that meet certain financial criteria—determined through external data and industry factors. For those who require a deposit, we provide full transparency upfront, so there are no surprises. Deposits are fully refundable if they are not needed to cover any outstanding balances.

  • Predictable costs, no hidden fees Remote’s transparent pricing guarantee ensures clear, predictable costs, and that means unlike some providers that charge fees based on a percentage of employee’s salary, Remote offers fixed, upfront pricing on our products and services, allowing businesses to plan with confidence. Our commitment to pricing transparency remains, while ensuring flexibility to consolidate and purchase multiple products.

  • Flexible contracting You never know what the future holds, which is why Remote offers clear and flexible pricing tailored to your business needs. Whether you prioritize long-term savings or need adaptable pricing with built-in protections, our contracts are straightforward, transparent and easy to understand. We offer monthly and annual pricing to help you choose the plan that’s right for your business.

  • No exclusivity agreements We want you to love working with Remote, and we believe you will. That’s why we never require exclusivity agreements for our customers. While we hope you will work with us for as long as you have international employees, we will not force you into staying with fine print. We are committed to you and your team, and our pricing and contracts reflect that commitment.

The price you see on our pricing page is the fee you’ll pay for Remote. We take care of the hard stuff for one customer-friendly price, so you can focus on growing your team.

How does Remote guarantee transparent pricing?

Remote’s unique model of global employment is what allows us to guarantee transparent billing for our customers, a promise no other company can make. Our fully owned infrastructure and commitment to transparency ensure Remote will never pass on third-party costs or markups to our customers.

We own our own entities in every country where we offer global employment services. If we don’t own our own entity, we don’t operate in that country yet. That means we never rely on third parties to employ workers on your behalf, because doing so could create a bad experience for your employees and unpredictably high costs for you.

Refusing to rely on third parties means we are not available in every country in the world yet, but we believe it’s better to take the time to get it right. You can always see where we’re available and where we’re going next in our Country Explorer .

How Remote deals with foreign exchange

Employees are paid in the currency of their employment agreement. If the salary (or any other items on your invoice) is different from your preferred billing currency, we convert this amount using the Remote FX rate. The Remote FX rate may vary over time and per currency pair.

The rate takes into account the risks associated with holding assets and liabilities in different currencies, the costs incurred by Remote, and industry benchmarks. Your invoice will always show the charges in your preferred billing currency. The Remote FX rate used for each line item will be visible on the invoice breakdown in our platform each month.
