This February, Remote has been working on bringing visual clarity to your HR automations, AI-driven speed to your HR-related approvals, and precision to your payroll process. All our updates are designed to help you spend less time on manual admin and more time scaling your team.

Remote HRIS

Visualize and scale your HR automations with the Workflow Canvas

Reduce operational risk and administrative overhead by gaining clear visibility into how your HR workflows run end to end. The Workflow Canvas helps you identify gaps, prevent missed steps, and maintain consistent, compliant processes across onboarding, lifecycle changes, and contract updates as your organization grows.

To enable this, the canvas replaces list-based workflows with a visual, drag-and-drop interface that shows every trigger, condition, and action in one view. You can update workflows directly on the canvas and instantly understand the impact on downstream tasks, making it easier to standardize complex processes and manage global changes with confidence.

This feature is available to HRIS customers with Owner and SuperAdmin access. We plan to extend this to more groups and products in future

Make faster, more informed decisions with Mobile AI summaries

Ensure your team feels supported by our quick and easy approvals for time off and expense requests. Our Mobile AI summaries give you additional context for time off and expense requests instantly, pulling scattered details into one clear view on your phone.

Our prompts will allow you to catch potential issues — like high-value reimbursements or coverage gaps — before they become problems. It is a simpler, more proactive way to stay on top of your management tasks, so you can focus on leading your team rather than chasing administrative details.

Remote Payroll

Reduce payroll errors with real-time time tracking

Run payroll with greater accuracy by ensuring employee work hours are captured correctly the first time. This update helps prevent missed clock-outs and inflated time entries, reducing payroll corrections, compliance risk, and end-of-cycle admin work for your team.

To support this, live time-tracking activities on mobile keep active clock-in sessions visible on employees’ lockscreens and home screens throughout the day. This real-time visibility helps employees manage their time accurately, resulting in cleaner records, audit-ready data, and more reliable payroll across jurisdictions for employers.
