We act as the employer-of-record, entering a local employment agreement with your team members. They work for you, and we pay them every month. We also take care of all local compliance, statutory payments, social and pension contributions and income tax retention ("pay as you earn").

Monthly price per employee = TCE (Total Cost of Employment) + Management fee + Reservations

We charge you the total cost of employment (TCE), which includes the gross salary you negotiated with your team members, as well as the statutory payments, social and pension contributions, and other costs (eg. labour insurance, yearly training...) that are mandatory in the country they live in.

In addition to the total cost of employment, we charge a management fee that is a percentage of the total cost of employment, and that may vary from country to country.

Depending on the country, we may also charge reservations, which are a refundable amount that we collect to deal with unforeseen circumstances (such as indemnities).

We automatically withdraw the amount from your bank account each month, after you validate the payroll run on our website (usually before the 15th of every month).

Employees are paid in the last day of the month, at the latest.

We charge your company in the local currency when possible, or default to US Dollars. Employees are always paid the same amount in their own local currency.

When your company's currency is different from the employee's currency, we charge enough in your company's currency to meet the employment costs in the employee's currency.

This means that currency fluctuations may impact your company, never your employees.

We use the mid-market rate and any applicable fee passed on by our provider at cost at the time of billing.

You'll use our website to add new employees, run payroll and manage payment and billing details. It's click-easy! Reach out to us so we can onboard you as our customer.

Yes. Employees will use the website to fill-in required information for their employment. In many countries we are also required to keep track of things like vacation days or even time sheets, so we have easy-to-use features that will enable them to do that.

We currently don't support benefits in kind, bonuses or reimbursements, but would like to hear your needs as we plan to support them.

We charge a percentage over total cost of employment. A small part of this is to cover direct expenses. The majority is to cover risk and liability.

We find that even for top 1% salaries, Remote is more affordable than alternative solutions, including other employers of record, and managing your own entity.
